 "Be formless... shapeless,

like Water.

If you put water into a cup,

it becomes the cup.

You put water into a bottle;

it becomes the bottle.

You put it into a teapot;

it becomes the teapot.

Water can flow, and it can crash.

Be water, my friend..."

Children | 7 to 15 years old...

At HanSu Taekwondo children are taught that a fit, healthy lifestyle is the accumulation and practice of good habits.  Three habits that make up a healthy lifestyle are regular exercise, proper nutrition and high standard of hygiene.

HanSu Taekwondo helps with the exercise component and may provide assistance with the other two.  HanSu Taekwondo instructors tell children that through healthy eating they will be strong and require that they have proper level of hygiene while in class.

It is well known that through regular exercise serious health issues, such as, obesity can be prevented or totally avoided in children and adults alike.  In addition, studies have found that active children who jump everyday increase their bone density, which may help to prevent bone density loss later in their adult lives.  When a child jumps, the bones flex under stress triggering them to increase their density.  Throughout a day, children who jump five times in three sessions had a significance increase in bone density.  Therefore, when children are doing star jumps, hopping or practicing jumping kicks in
Taekwondo classes, they are not only getting stronger and perfecting their techniques but they are also helping to prevent bone density loss in the later years of their lives.

In addition to the physical benefits, HanSu Taekwondo also teaches children to pay attention, focus on the tasks at hand and block out all forms of distraction. It is well known that if you are good at something, you become confident in that thing, but that confidence also spills over into other areas of a child's life such as academia.

At HanSu Taekwondo we help you to take your fitness further
